Hey You is Australia’s top Order Ahead platform, helping over 900,000 Aussies order ahead, pay on the app and pick up from their local cafe as soon is it’s ready. After all. waiting in line is so 2015.
Well established in Sydney, they needed some help launching the app into the Melbourne market. Nothing says Melbourne cafe culture like influencers, so we created a user generated content (UGC) influencer marketing campaign incentivising Melburnians with one of their favourite things – coffee – to elevate the Hey You brand.
OBJECTIVE: Build brand awareness, increase organic app downloaders and regular consumers.
TARGET: Melbourne CBD Workers, aged 25 – 45
RESULTS: 91 UGC submissions were received in a three week campaign period.
Posted content had a combined reached of over 300,000 followers with 13,144 engagements (likes, comments, shares and saves) at an engagement rate of 4.18%.
The cost per engagement was $0.29, well below the industry average for Food & Beverage which sat at $0.57.
The Hey You app saw a significant increase in downloads during the campaign period.
